Fair Housing

Student will gain an understanding of the history of the laws affecting the civil rights acts which has contributed to our fair housing practices today.

Objectives:

Student shall have an over-all understanding and be able to:

• Civil Rights Act
• Define color, race, religion, sex, familial status and disability
• Identify exemptions covered by the Fair Housing Act
• Understanding the regulations and compliance
• Discuss current state and federal
